Matthew Carl

Matthew Carl is a freelance costume designer based in Orlando, Florida. He has designed and assisted at many theaters across the United States. He has also worked as a stitcher, shopper, and assistant for multiple costume shops regionally and on Broadway. He is currently pursing his MFA at the University of Tennessee Knoxville with an expected graduation in May 2027 and completed his B.A in Costume Design at Columbia College Chicago.

Matthew believes in a collaborative design process to help complete and tell a story through costumes.
